Summary In this chapter we examine a number of methods to construct aggregation operators of interpolatory type for specific applications. The construction is based on the desired values of the aggregation operator at certain prototypical points, and on other desired properties, such as, conjuctive, disjunctive or averaging behaviour, symmetry and marginals.
