Summary This is the first detailed study of the life and work of Albert Tucker. One of Australia's most significant artists, Tucker's reputation is largely associated with a circle of artists active in Melbourne in the 1940s. Tucker lived in Europe and America from 1947 until his return to Australia in 1960.
