Environmental factors
Summary Qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used to examine the influence of physical and social environments at home and in the neighbourhood, on 10-year-old children's walking and physical activity. Findings suggest that environmental factors can attenuate declines in walking and physical activity over a 16-month period.
