Summary The accumulated oxygen deficit is a non-invasive representation of anaerobic capacity. This thesis investigates methodological and physiological factors which influence the precision of the calculated accumulated oxygen deficit. A method was developed which improves the precision in calculating the accumulated oxygen deficit.
