Summary Research was undertaken in Fiji and Tonga to identify the most promising policy interventions to improve diets and non-communicable diseases. The participatory approach combined with modelling enabled evidence-informed decision-making by stakeholders. The framework developed is practical and systematic and is recommended for use in other countries in the region.
