Summary This research presents the development of a microfluidic system which takes advantage of dielectrophoresis to manipulate particles. The system utilises curved microelectrodes to create strong dielectrophoretic forces within the microchannel, and exploits a novel operating strategy by patterning carbon nanotubes between the microelectrodes to trap low-conductive particles.
