Summary This research focused on the neuro-proliferation and protective effects of a survivin mutant. The results showed that this protein binds to microtubules and induces the division and proliferation of neural cells. Furthermore, it protects the neural cells against retinoic acid induced neurotoxicity, activated T-cell apoptosis and oxidative stress.
