This report provides a brief report detailing the methods and approach used to classify the 2007-2009 theses by ANZSRC Fields of Research codes and any recommendations.
Notes
The contract (of which RMIT was the lead institution) states: RMIT grants to each of Deakin and ANU a permanent, irrevocable, free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and adapt the Reports to inform understanding of recent trends in higher degree research, including academic publication, and for further research. The project we did for the ARC Research Excellence Branch did not involve creating new data, but rather using mostly our own existing data and downloading further public data from the National Library, which the REB paid us to then code and analyse for them, but for us to use as well.
