Summary This thesis was about understanding the childhood developmental factors that may lead to psychotic experiences in early adolescence. It also contributed to efforts towards preventative strategies for children with a high risk of psychotic symptoms, and arguably schizophrenia. Based on the findings, the author concluded, that further research on this topic should focus on the development of early detection methods and interventions for high risk children.
