Imas Maesaroh is an Indonesian who studied in Australia on two occasions; at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in the 1993-1995, and at Curtin University in 2007-2012. She studied on Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) scholarships on both occasions and completed a Masters in Library Studies at UNSW, and a PhD in the same field later at Curtin University. The interview was conducted in Indonesian on 31 May 2014 by Dr. Ahmad Suaedy of the Abdurrahman Wahid Centre for Inter-faith Dialogue and Peace at Universitas Indonesia.
