Summary  The dissertation reports the synthesis of novel self-therapeutic Surface Enhanced Raman (ST-SERs) active gold nanoparticles. The therapeutic response monitored in the retinoblastoma mice model and elucidated the mechanism of the targeted therapy by biomolecule spectral fingerprints.
