Summary  The main focus of this research was to investigate possible link between zinc, DHA, apoptosis and cell survival. Study also analyses the benefits of omega-3 FA’s and the link between free zinc availability to neurodegeneration. Furthermore, this study was focused on developing a suitable cell culture model for neuronal research.
