Summary It has been well documented that the ingestion of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 LC-PUFA) can improve health. However, little scientific attention has been paid on the actual bioavailability of n-3 LC-PUFA. In this thesis, several nutritional questions related to bioavailability of n-3 LC-PUFA have been answered.
