Summary  This PhD investigated obesity and mental health issues. Physical activity, screen-based behaviour (including e-gaming) measures don’t seem to be closely linked to BMI-z or psychosocial outcomes in Fijian adolescents. Expectations of the BMI-z impact of PA programs should be low and control on violent e-gaming through licensing agreements is suggested.
