Summary Curated by Cameron Bishop "Treatment: Flightlines" is diverse in its collaborations, practices, and histories. With a group of passionate stakeholders including Wyndham City, Melbourne Water, Deakin University, the community, the curator, the artistic director, and the artists, the works activated the site in expansive, subtle and surprising ways. Through sight, sound, smell, performance, film, sculpture and installation the public artworks responded to different aspects of the large site in Melbourne’s west – in some circles unfairly renowned for its biochemical releases of sewerage-based gases, but equally known for its bio-diverse plant, animal and bird life, cultural histories and technologies.
