Summary This thesis explores the effects of China’s exports on world trade on the intensive and extensive margins, with an emphasis on the product-level competition. The research found a strong evidence of China’s displacement effect on global textiles and apparel exports, but more pronounced complementarity effect on world agricultural exports.
