Summary In prostate cancer versican is up-regulated and ADAMTS-15 down-regulated. In this PhD ADAMTS-15 decreased migration, proliferation and apoptosis in vitro, and prolonged survival in castrated NOD/SCID mice injected with tumor cells, and was shown to be co-localized with versican and its cleaved form versikine in human patient biopsies.
