Summary The study demonstrated novel approaches to incorporate high wet-resistant adhesion and porosity into a bioadhesive, which showed excellent adhesion and ability to form porous structure at micron scale with biocompatibility, highlighting the significance of the bioadhesive for a range of wound healing and tissue engineering applications.
