Summary Results demonstrated that externalising disorders are more prevalent in boys than girls, except for Oppositional Defiant Disorder in Non-Western countries, where no gender difference was found. Results also found that parenting and diagnosis did not impact this gender imbalance, however there appears a potential for ADHD to be misdiagnosed in both genders.
