Summary This work studied the ability of Mg-Sn alloys to be deformed under extrusion and its effect on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy. Thermoelectric properties of tin rich Mg-Sn alloys was inspected and it was found that they got altered with deformation which in turn would alter the thermoelectric efficiency of these alloys.
