Summary The focus of this sstudy was to develop safe, stable, highly conductive and high-performance solid-state electrolytes for Na battery devices based on organic ionic plastic crystals (OIPCs) with phosphonium cations, which have received less attention compared to other kinds of OIPCs and yet offer the possibility of enhanced electrochemical properties.
