Summary This study utilized the naturally occurring protein bovine lactoferrin (bLf) in combination with chemotherapeutic (Taxol) in patient-derived melanoma cell lines with different mutational and drug-resistant characteristics. This novel combination targeted the growth and proliferation of cancer cells. The project further highlights the use of bLf with chemotherapeutic agents.
