Summary This study investigated the response of Atlantic salmon exposed to chronic thermal stress from increased water temperatures due to global climate change. The data presented provides the physiological responses and a transcriptome level resource for the advancement of biomarkers into chronic thermal stress and bimodal growth in Atlantic salmon populations.
