Summary This Ph.D. research has been focussed on demonstrating the potential application of additive manufacturing technology in robotics and especially soft robotics. The project included material fabrication, 3D printing, design, mathematical modeling and computer simulations, and has resulted in 8 publications in top-tier journals and 2 conference papers.
