Summary Currently, 1% of the Australian population suffers from Schizophrenia but effective antipsychotic treatments are lacking. This project set out to identify the principal bioactive ingredients from Mangosteen fruit pericarp extract that have the potential for use as pharmaceutical treatments of schizophrenia.
