Summary The study is focused on the structural and functional evolution of some of the conductive aluminium alloys during severe plastic deformation. The recommendations about the optimal concentration of alloying elements, as well as deformation and heat treatment conditions, in order to achieve the simultaneous high mechanical strength and electrical conductivity, are given.
