The politics of special economic zones: the case of Polepally in Andhra Pradesh, India
Apsingikar, Raman Kumar 2019, The politics of special economic zones: the case of Polepally in Andhra Pradesh, India, Ph.D. thesis, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Deakin University.
This research investigates dispossession of farmers from their lands in the South Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. It explains dispossession for the establishment of Special Economic Zones from a subnational perspective against a surplus global capital redeployment logic. It finds dispossession as an outcome of collusive state-capital alliance.
