Finish your PhD! : the proven way

PhD students on average take about 4-5 years full time and seven years part-time to complete their studies. Many do not even complete and drop out of their studies. The PhD study period can be incredibly stressful and challenging; with many students feeling isolated and lost. The University system does provide support, but many times this system does not incorporate the student's views or needs. However, the PhD student experience does not have to be negative. There are certain steps that one can take to not only navigate the PhD process smoothly but also complete studies effectively and efficiently. These steps can be applied to any PhD pathway and are common to all disciplines. This book covers these steps, and the content is based on the author's experience of completing his PhD in 2.3 years (4.6 years part-time) while working full-time. While there are a few books to support PhD students; they are either dull or far removed from the student experience i.e. don't cover the necessary steps in the PhD process. This book addresses these gaps and is written in a clear and easy-to-read fashion. Also, the book outlines various PhD student scenarios to exemplify the implementation of the author's advice.
