Tourism, hospitality and events (TH&E) education particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa confronts daunting problems and challenges that call for innovative approaches and inventions. The societal environment under which TH&E university education has to survive in the current period of unprecedented regional and global change and uncertainty is extremely diverse and complex. The main aim of this chapter, therefore, is to examine the challenges confronting TH&E higher education curriculum development and implementation in Africa with particular reference to Kenya.
