This chapter focuses a longitudinal case study of the international knowledge transfer from Kodak to the Industry Technology Research Institute (ITRI) of Taiwan in the period of 2006-2014. It evaluates the complex knowledge transfer process under the lens of strategic alliance learning framework. The chapter illustrates key learning success and hindrance factors for international knowledge transfer. The outcomes of analysis would be useful for international firms and institutes with high-tech components and technical/technological capabilities to seek global strategic partners so as to utilize their technology and know-how to build new industries and firms for future.
