RFID systems were adopted in most of the modern libraries around the globe as it provides a secure, reliable and easy access and monitoring to the books and Cd’s instead of the old barcode systems which needed to be closely scanned. In this chapter we will explore the use of RFID systems in libraries by researching some case studies conducted by researchers and scholars. We will then discuss the advantages and challenges that those scholars face as well as their suggestions and their overview of the research topic.
