A balancing realization approach to decentralized control of interconnected systems

A method for the design of decentralized output feedback controllers for interconnected dynamical systems is presented in this paper. The design method uses balanced realisation techniques .and constrained optimal state feedback control theory. An example is given of an interconnected system comprising 3- subsystem. Computer simulations are provided.
