Biokin based system for capturing golf swing data
conference contribution
posted on 2016-12-01, 00:00 authored by Josefa Wivou, Pubudu PathiranaPubudu Pathirana, Ian GibsonIan Gibson, L UdawattaThis paper presents a new concept for data
capturing algorithm for golf swing, particularly, in greenside
bunkers of a golf course. The captured data will be used to
investigate the critical parameters of the golf swing addressing
selected significant variables. Modeling and key findings will be
used for extracting optimum training parameters. Results show
the effectiveness of the proposed BioKin based system and it will
lead to investigate different aspects of the golf swing in
combination with other determined factors.
