In this paper, the design and implementation of a systematic process for students outcomes (SO) assessment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman is described. Unlike most programs aiming for ABET accreditation, the process is based on a collective and acquiescent approach that involves most of the program faculty members: All Faculty members take part in the assessment of SOs pooled among selected program courses, while a majority of faculty members take part in the evaluation process. For this end different group of faculty members have been formed namely: Student Outcomes Champions composed of 11 faculty members each of those is coordinating an SO focus group. Each SO focus group is composed of three to four members that coordinate the evaluation of one SO. Moreover for each course, course focus groups composed of three to four members are formed to take the responsibility of implementing the recommendations on the respective courses.
