Context-based addressing: the concept and an implementation for large-scale mobile agent systems using publish-subscribe event notification

We describe a simple implementation of context-based addressing for mobile agents using Elvin, a publish-subscribe event notification system, as a proof-of-concept, and to investigate the feasibility of the event-based paradigm for implementing context-based addressing for mobile agents.
