A Smart Water Network has been established across the Adelaide city (CBD), including 305 accelerometer and 23 hydrophones acoustic loggers, and been in operation from 1st July 2017 to present. A program of controlled testing of the acoustic logging system and associated alert algorithms has been conducted since the first operation of the Adelaide CBD Smart Network. The purpose of these tests, amongst other things, has been to assess the performance of the acoustic logging sensors using known leak inputs at known locations. A qualitative assessment of the sensor data for two test locations is presented for no leak and controlled leak cases.
