In this paper, a hybrid cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and parity-check-concatenated (PCC) polar codes with a shared encoder is proposed. The CRC-PCC polar codes is a combination of a CRC-concatenated polar code and PCC polar code. In the proposed code, a single outer encoder is used to generate the CRC bits and the parity bits simultaneously, and aids to the SCL decoding. The simulation results show that the proposed hybrid polar codes obviously outperform the CRC-concatenated polar codes, and achieve lower encoding/decoding complexity without error performance loss, compared to the hybrid polar code with the separate optimized encoders.
