© 2018 IEEE. Variety and diversity of IoT services is growing along with ever increasing development and deployment of IoT ecosystems. In this paper, we propose a Context Service Description Language (CSDL) and a Context Service Matchmaking (CSM) mechanism which are core components of Context-as-a-Service (CoaaS) IoT platform. CoaaS is one of major IoT services in EU Horizon-2020 project called bIoTope. CSDL is an abstract language and supports definition of context as well as IoT services in terms of their semantic signatures, service characteristics, and contextual behavior specification. CoaaS enables applications to provide and consume contextual information by IoT-services seamlessly without requiring manual integration of IoT silos. We demonstrate and evaluate the proposed CoaaS IoT service via a smart parking use case that highlights how CoaaS can be used to discover and consume IoT-services.
