Examples of the synthetic fibres include:
 • Dark, shiny, fibre, flattened at one end (cut)
 • Dark, shiny, fibre, square section, flattened at one end (cut) and frayed
 • Light blue fibre, polygonal cross-section, in and amongst sand debris
 • Agglomerate of fibres, showing one blue synthetic fibre
 • Blue fibre with a channel-section
 • Black fibre with multi-channel section
