Students and learning: The impact of the Reggio Emilia approach on student success

Reggio Emilia as a pedagogical approach has influenced early childhood learning and learning environments for a number of years, however recently there has been an increase in the number of schools incorporating the pedagogical principals and perspectives of the REA. This study sought to investigate how it is being incorporated into schools which is area that is under researched. The study sought to identify the learning of children who are involved in this approach by drawing on the observations and pedagogical reflections of teachers, as well as the understanding of parents in regards how they see their children as learners.
