Research statement

Background AI imagery generation introduces new semantic conditions and challenges for contemporary architectural design processes. AI is likely to have more profound effects on how architects design and practice than on the design outcomes themselves. Contribution This project explores how text-to-image AI tools can enhance architectural design communication and development. The exhibition showcases a series of projects created through a collaborative workshop between design professionals and Deakin Architecture students. Significance The exhibition examines the impact of generative AI on our creative process and design in Architecture and the Built Environment.
