I received outside funding which went through Deakin Commercial as the work is. accompanied by this statement on the program 'This work explores what interactivity is in a a gallery context through observations of viewer engagement of an artwork that combines algorithmic and natural light sources designed to trigger a viewer's experience'. This was a new work receiving favorable response. I have been invited to submit a proposal for 2019 as a resullt which would comprise a public art commission building on this work. As a result of this work I created a solo exhibition in St Kilda in a gallery context. This work was documented as support material to further investigate and develop research around the same question. As a result of these three works I received an Australia Council for Arts Development Grant to learn more and work together with the international New Technology organisation 'ARS Electronica'. 'richmanpoorman' is the first of three works that became possible through the Museum of Brisbane exhibition 'Every Day I Wait (3)' which saw 113,213 visitors to the Museum.
