The space museum is a so-called museum of things each of which hold and express some idea of space. Pound’s collection-based artworks investigate all the ways in which things might be found and made to hold ideas. The things in this museum range from a car parking space guide to a record of music for outer space; from Perec’s ‘Species of Spaces’ to a snap of outer space. These works also test how collections and collectors and curators and museums might aggregate things differently to express ideas.
