The prototype for Aqua Optica was exhibited in the exhibition titled, Microscopic/Telescopic (universes unfold) at the Bundoora Homestead Gallery in August 2013. Aqua Optica is a quasi-scientific optical instrument which consist of a large aquatic lens mounted on a timber tripod. Projected images of celestial objects are viewed by the observer through the lens. The content of the work refers relationships between the eye of the observer, the instruments of science and the celestial.
