The artwork Elucidate, is part of a new lens based series which explores the apprehensions of post-colonial arts practitioners a decade and a half into the 21st century. The artist operates within a system loaded with the relationships and tensions of place-makers in contemporary Australasia. This work probes this loaded scenario to visually cobble and piece together a frantic, busy and loaded scene shot from on high. Colours inverted on roads to everywhere, endless loops of traffic and detritus. This is a digitally enhanced work that aims to present the audience with a nervous energy to grapple with.Publisher
