Cataloguer assigned title. Forms part of: Alfred Deakin Prime Ministerial Library collection. Digitized images. Photographed at: Deakin University, Geelong; in the late 1990s. Colour TIFF images at 300 dpi. The image forms part of the Brookes family album. The album spans the latter part of Alfred Deakin's life, circa 1910-1920. The Great White Fleet was a United States Navy fleet of 16 warships. They were invited to visit by Alfred Deakin, then Prime Minister. The fleet arrived in Melbourne from Sydney on 29 August 1908 and left for Albany on the 5th of September. The photograph album forms Series 2 of MS0001.
