Notes

Industry Tracks incorporates site design and installation of outdoor projection screen for the screening of audio/visual film.

Research statement

Site design and installation for screening of 'Industry Tracks' , Geelong After Dark festival in May 2017. The aim of this work is to provide a ‘viewing’ mediation between the real vacant industrial architecture across Corio Bay and the audio/film moving image of industrial architecture. The site selection for screening the film is the industrial architecture of Wool Mill structure adapted for new institutional programme of Deakin University. Specifically is a narrow lane beside the conserved Boiler Room of the old Wool Mill with the projection screen hoisted at the interface of the building and Corio Bay. A set of stairs allowed for a raised seating for the audience.
