A mixed-species brood of wild Australian parrots (Eastern Rosella Platycercus eximius and Crimson Rosella P. elegans)—accident or brood-parasitism?

We report a novel case of a mixed-species brood in wild Australian parrots. Two Eastern Rosellas Platycercus eximius and one Crimson Rosella P. elegans were raised by a pair of Eastern Rosellas in the same nest-box in southern Victoria, Australia, in late 2016.
