The Princeton Dictionary of Buddhism is a dictionary with more than one million words translations and over five thousand entries that draw from works in six canonical Buddhist languages: Sanskrit, Pāli, Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. There are also selected terms and names from Thai, Burmese, Vietnamese, Lao, Khmer, Sinhalese, Newari, and Mongolian. Entries define terminology and doctrines and elaborate on the history, usage, and significance of these concepts across Buddhist traditions.
