The moduli at 0°K, obtained by extrapolation, are used to calculate the Debye temperature, θ, of the two materials. Values obtained are for Dy, θ = 183°K and for Ho, θ = 188.5°K. These are compared to the values of θ obtained from specific heat measurements. © 1970.
